Program Overview

Computer scientists focus on the theoretical foundations and practical approaches to computation and its applications. They design methods, tools and write programs for computer applications used in Artificial Intelligence (AI), stock market trend analysis, cyber security and patient monitoring in hospitals and more.

During your study, you will study the fundamentals of computer science and IT: programming, problem-solving, network and communications, web technology, data management, system analysis, human-computer interaction, and project management.

Software engineering incorporates all aspects of software production; it?s about multi-person development of multi-version software that is large and complex, such as the Windows, Linux and Android operating systems, office software, and enterprise systems.

You will discover your strengths and interests as you study the fundamentals in programming, problem solving, network and communications, web technology, data management, system analysis, human-computer interaction, and project management.

In the final year, you will also complete a capstone team project. Throughout this major you will study real-world projects and interact with and learn from industry professionals to ensure your career-readiness upon graduation.
