Program Overview

Capilano University offers its students an associate degree in academic and applied psychology. This course offers students the opportunity to learn interpersonal relations, counseling courses, mental health programs and so on. The aforementioned course helps students gain the skills required for them to continue university education in the said field or start a career out of the same field.

The Associate of Arts Degree in Psychology is a two year program with numerous courses in fields such as psychology, English and multiple other courses pertaining to the field of arts. Through this course students have an access to excellent academic advising and counseling services. In lieu of fulfilling the university transfer requirements students can choose psychology courses as electives. Once the students have finished this two year long program, they can transfer to a longer baccalaureate program at other British Columbia education institutions.
