• Minimum Level of Education Required : To be accepted for this program, student must have a first or upper second-class Bachelor's degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) in any civil engineering discipline.
• Applicants with a degree in environmental engineering, earth sciences, maths, physics and mechanical engineering may also be considered.
• Lower degree classifications might be considered if there is strength elsewhere (for example, relevant work experience, excellent final project/dissertation, very strong academic letter of reference, very strong application statement linking with career goals.)

• Minimum CGPA Required: 60.00 %

Additional Information

Industrial placement or design and construction module
You'll take an industrial placement or the Industrial Design & Construction class.

Please note: in order to undertake the placement, students are responsible for finding a suitable industrial placement for the summer months. Students who do not find a placement for the summer months by 1 March must undertake the Industrial Design & Construction class in order to sit the MSc Civil Engineering with Industry.

• New scholarship value – Typically £6,240 (15% reduction, depending on tuition fee rate)

• New scholarship value - £6,000-£7,000 (depending on tuition fee bracket of programme)

There are various options through which a student can get a post study work visa in the UK. 
Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur Visa for the graduates with a genuine and credible business idea. 
Tier 2 (General) is the leading immigration visa to work in the UK.
Tier 4 Doctorate Extension Scheme is for students who have completed their Ph.D. and is valid for 12 months for them to work, look for work or set up a business. 
Tier 5 Youth Mobility is for individuals of certain countries like Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and New Zealand aged between 18 -30 who wish to move to the UK. 
Tier 5 GAE is for individuals who want to come to the UK for work experience, training, research or a fellowship. 
UK Ancestry is for individuals who are a citizen of a commonwealth and plan to work in the UK and have a grandparent who was born in the UK.
