Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness with Concentration in Horticulture and Cannabis (STEM)

Program Overview

Turn your green thumb into a Career in Horticulture and Cannabis: You'll Do That Here.

Agriculture, like most of our world, has changed dramatically and is infinitely more complex than most people can imagine. Today, most agriculture is seen as a technology-based industry that includes production, agriscience and agribusiness. Not only are agriculture graduates in demand to produce food, but also to package and transport it, market it, regulate its production and finance it.

The horticulture option provides you with experience in ornamentals, fruits and vegetable production, turf and golf maintenance, landscape design and maintenance, viticulture, nursery production, greenhouse management and other areas.

Horticulture students also take a variety of business courses, so you are just as versed in running a business as they are. A sample of the ag courses you’ll take are horticulture crop production, viticulture, strategic urban horticulture, and turfgrass management.
