Program Overview

Management program is designed to be a balanced and flexible choice for students who anticipate becoming managers in a variety of enterprises, from large global firms, to small family businesses.

The B.S. in Management is a versatile degree that allows students to pursue many career paths.  All graduates have a broad knowledge of business fundamentals coupled with management skills that can be applied in many different professions.  

Students choose to focus on specific aspects of business with concentrations in:

  • Supply Chain Management, where students are prepared for careers in operations, purchasing and distribution.  
  • General Management, which is a broad-based concentration that allows students to gain leadership skills, develop an entrepreneurial focus while gaining a broad range of managerial skills.
  • Human Resources Management is focused on developing and managing the valuable human resource, critical to the success of any organization.  
  • International Management is designed for the student who is focusing on embracing the emerging global economy and is structured so that students gain a breadth of business and management knowledge with a distinct focus on global application.

Management students gain real-world insight through simulations integrated into courses,  analysis of case studies and applied projects with business partners.  Students pursuing a B.S. in Management will study  business analytics, leadership and teamwork, conflict management, marketing communications and business operations.  

All students in this program are strongly encouraged to complete internships with one of our leading business partners as well as compete in business competitions.
