Master of Science in Accounting provides students with a rigorous, advanced study focused on high level concepts, principles, analytics, and technical aspects of accountancy.
Niagara University is proud to announce the launch of the NEW Masters of Science in Accounting degree program. This is intended to provide students with a rigorous, advanced study in the areas of accounting, taxation and audit and assurance practice.
This 33-credit program comprised of seven core courses in the field of accounting, auditing and internal controls, as well as, corporate financial policy. The remaining four elective classes include courses in taxation, finance, organizational development and strategic information systems and big data analysis.
The M.S. Accounting will provide a solid foundation in theory, research, and professional practice that will prepare program graduates to write the CPA Exam. Additionally, the M.S. Accounting program will provide those students seeking to progress academically into Ph.D. programs in accounting a strong background in research theory and practice.
This program is designed for students who have an undergraduate degree in Accounting to meet the necessary requirements to enroll.

Scholarship for UG:
Only performance based scholarship for PG which is only applicable from Second semester. No entrance scholarship for PG programs for International students.
Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
