Advance your knowledge in economics and learn how to apply it to business and economic problems with the Master of Arts in Business Economics from Temple’s College of Liberal Arts (CLA). This unique 30-credit graduate degree is the only program in the region aligned with the National Association of Business Economists (NABE) guidelines and enables students to take the Certified Business Economists exam.
Gain an advanced understanding of the core theories of microeconomics and macroeconomics and how to employ calculus as an analytical tool. You will also become familiar with the current empirical tools used by professional economists as well as commonly used statistical and data manipulation packages, such as STATA, R and PYTHON.
The Business Economics MA program is aligned with parallel university programs like CLA’s Master of Public Policy and Fox’s Master of Business Administration. This interdisciplinary approach allows students to tailor coursework to their professional goals and streamline the earning of certificates and joint degrees.
