Advance your professional practice with the Master of Science in Architecture at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture. This post-professional, 30-credit graduate degree program is designed for students who have already earned a bachelor of architecture or master of architecture degree and want to engage in forward-thinking design research.
While the field of architecture is rooted in the built environment, it provides enormous opportunity to specialize in areas such as digital design technologies, design for health, urban design and more. Sharpen your skills and your proficiency with design toolsets while elevating your expertise through specialization, research and direct collaboration with Tyler’s department faculty of architecture practitioners.
The Architecture MS is a studio- and design-based program challenging students to explore their individual interests. Investigation is conducted in classrooms, labs and shops and is informed by research, drawing, model-making and digital processes.
Health and Design Concentration
Learn to address health facilities alongside the urban environment and the broad spectrum of issues, sites and spaces that are positively impacted through architecture. Gain the credentials to become a part of this growing area of architectural practice specialization.
