Such connected smart objects, platforms and environments have been identified as the next big technology development that will enable changes to society and economic growth. The Internet of Things will become an inherent part of areas such as electricity, transportation, retail, energy management, resource control and management, healthcare and mining.
In the Internet of Things specialisation, you’ll address challenges arising from the interconnection of the Internet and everyday devices by applying advanced and applied knowledge of the design, configuration and management of IoT systems, and communication services and networking, You’ll become an expert in networking technologies and protocols, security, hardware, operating systems and application programming and you’ll get hands-on experience in industry-recognised development methodologies, practices and tools.

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
