With climate models predicting that our planet will cross the global warming threshold of 1.5 degrees Celsius within the next decade, the transition to a greener economy has never been more timely. Such a transition will enhance our ability to manage natural resources sustainably, increase energy efficiency and reduce waste, foster sustainable consumption and production, and contribute to the fight against climate change. It will also drive green skills growth across all industries.
The multidisciplinary and future-focused Master of Environment will provide you with the skills required for roles in emerging green sectors, such as renewable energies, as well as for roles in traditional sectors – industry, construction and agriculture – that are evolving to be greener. And with the degree’s renewed focus on industry engagement, you’ll have unique opportunities to not only build your industry networks, but to gain valuable practical experience working in partnership with industry to develop solutions to genuine environmental challenges.

Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted for this programme, students must have a bachelor's degree.
Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
