The Bachelor of Laws and Commerce is a double degree that combines foundational studies in accounting, finance, economics, management and marketing with practical knowledge of the Australian legal system. You will develop a thorough legal and commercial understanding of business and trade, preparing you for a well-rounded career across a range of disciplines.
As a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce student, you will gain a solid foundation in the Australian legal system through research, analysis and legal communication skills. Combine this with a broad foundation in accounting, finance, economics, management and marketing, plus a major of your choice for a thorough legal and commercial understanding of business and trade.
Major: Behavioural Commerce
For enterprises to be successful, companies and executives need to understand the motivations and mindsets of their consumers and competitors. A major in Behavioural commerce gives you the skills and knowledge to use psychology to explain the behaviour of people and organisations in business environments. You will develop a strong understanding of commercial behaviour and decision-making processes, and how these affect the economy, corporations and the public sector.
