The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) is a four-year degree with the option to major in your chosen specialisation. You will have access to fully equipped laboratories and the latest computer-aided software used in modern industrial workplaces. This degree also includes a 12-week industry placement providing valuable practical experience.
Throughout the Bachelor of Laws you will be equipped with a comprehensive legal education. This world-class degree provides you with a thorough grounding in the law, the social and ethical context in which law operates, while equipping you with essential practical skills including an internship and integrated skills program.

Major: Telecommunications Engineering and Internet of Things
Telecommunications Engineering and Internet of Things (IoT) is a unique combination of the design, development, and operation telecommunications systems with the IoT technologies that deliver inter-related and integrated computing devices, machines and objects to identify, track and manage data. Graduates of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Telecommunications Engineering and Internet of Things) will be prepared for careers in public and private sectors that deal with the transmission, targeting and management of data and information through telecommunications networks, satellite systems, NBN, mobile telecommunications, television, radio and other media broadcasting infrastructure, as well as defense, space and security industries. As a Washington Accord accredited program, graduates are qualified for employment in Telecommunications Engineering roles in many other countries. Under supervision of experienced engineers, graduates will be capable of holding positions with significant responsibility for design and operation of telecommunications systems. Specific roles may include, but are not limited to: design of sensing and detection systems, such as those found in self-driving vehicles; operation of mobile phone and broadband network infrastructure; design of integrated communications and control system networks in smart buildings; design and operation of micro satellites and satellite communication systems; design and operation of optical networks, including land based or international sub- marine optical fiber networks; design of signal processing systems; and media and entertainment industry. Graduates will contribute within teams for complex projects and may take a lead role in design work, troubleshooting, testing, analysis and verification of component and system performance, project management, and system commissioning. Graduates may have responsibilities around client and stakeholder relations; procurement; safe work practices; quality assurance in project delivery; reporting; and, consideration of standards, regulations and compliance. Graduates will have strong project and people management skills and may take on responsibility for overseeing teams, contractors and consultants within the first five years from graduation.

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
