The Bachelor of Communication program covers all areas of creative communication, enabling you to understand how your field of study is connected to other disciplines. Through self-directed, team and problem-based learning strategies that require active participation in the community, you will learn to value ethical conduct, intellectual integrity, diversity and social justice principles.

Scholarships for 2025 are finalised and will remain the same for undergraduate and postgraduate programs for Sydney City Campus programs. Information on the new multi-year scholarships of $3,000 and $6,000 and the Terms and Conditions will be updated soon.

$3,000 multiyear scholarship for all students who meet minimum entry criteria into Western Sydney University, up to a maximum of 3 years.
Admissions will assess all cases for scholarship and include on the Letter of Offer.
First instalment of scholarship will apply in the students next study session as long as they have completed 30 credit points (3 units).
Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 4 or higher for the duration of their scholarship.

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
