With the on-campus Bachelor in Information Systems you will acquire exciting knowledge in the management of information systems: whether Programming, Computer Science, Information Security or E-Business Technology - the Bachelor of Information Systems brings you closer to a variety of subject areas and thus combines the basics of business administration with current trends & challenges of business information technology.

Driving forward the conception and analysis of information processing systems, getting to know IT trends better or recognizing market interrelationships - the business information systems course provides you with the knowledge you need to become a sought-after IT specialist in national and international companies.

Thanks to exciting lectures in the areas of management fundamentals (business studies & economics), basic skills (rhetoric & project management) as well as industry-specific focal points, the bachelor of information systems provides you with a business management basis with individual focus. For example, lectures are offered in the areas of digital business, data science or software engineering.

If you are studying Information Systems, your studies will be strongly oriented towards the current industry change with consulting projects, workshops and experienced lecturers from the business world. You will also develop new skills and implement them through integrated internships in Germany or abroad.

Semester Abroad

The B.Sc. Information Systems comprises an integrated semester abroad in the fourth semester. During the semester abroad you will not only get to know international IT trends, but also acquire valuable intercultural and linguistic skills.

The choice of university is up to you. ISM's university network comprises around 190 partner universities worldwide. In the Information Systems course you can choose from a comprehensive university network (PDF). The study achievements are fully credited, so that you do not lose any time and adhere to the standard period of study.

With a second, optional overseas semester in the seventh semester, the Global Track offers you the opportunity to spend another semester abroad overseas. This will enable you to expand your specialist knowledge and further develop your linguistic and intercultural skills.
