Program Overview

The Master of Science in Psychology & Management at ISM is a comprehensive program that combines psychological principles with business management practices. During four semesters you will be prepared for roles that require expertise in both psychology and business.

In this Business Psychology degree program, you will be trained in the main professional fields for business psychologists – psychology, market analysis, consulting and human resources. In the first semester of the Master's in Business Psychology, you will receive a general and broad education in applied psychology in a business context.

In the second semester, you will deepen your expertise in workplace psychology, market and media behavior, and human resources management, while gaining practical research and industry experience through a hands-on project and an internship. In the third semester you will gain international exposure via a semester abroad, and in the fourth semester you will work on your master’s thesis project.

Pursue an international career in Psychology and Management

All ISM Master's programs include an integrated semester abroad, including the Master's in Business Psychology. After two semesters at ISM, you spend the third semester at an ISM partner university. The network comprises a total of around 190 partner universities worldwide with various specializations.

In the Business Psychology Master's program, you can choose your university from a comprehensive university network (PDF). Regardless of which partner university you choose, your achievements abroad will be fully credited, so you don't lose any time.

The semester abroad allows you to deepen your subject-specific knowledge. You will also set individual priorities and learn about the intercultural characteristics of your chosen cultural area. At the same time, you will perfect your language skills.
