The world is evolving, with a clear shift away from outdated business practices. Griffith's Bachelor of Business will give you the relevant skills, values, and knowledge to thrive in the evolving economy as you explore a whole new way of thinking for the next generation of business professionals.

Foundation first year

In your first two trimesters, you'll complete six discovery subjects that are based in the core skills critical to successful business operations and apply them to practical challenges using the principles of sustainability, inclusiveness and equity. You'll also be part of an innovative approach to learning, designed to give you a complete view of business strategy.

Honing your skills

In your second two trimesters, you can choose from more than 20 fields in which to major. You can also combine majors from different disciplines.

MAJORS

A major is a focus of study within your degree, in the field of your choice. The Bachelor of Business offers you a wider choice with more than 20 majors. Wider choice also means more flexibility for you to combine two majors from a suite; for example, you can graduate with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Management or a Bachelor of Business in International Business and Economics. All of the majors can be completed On-campus and Online, so you can base your studies wherever it suits you best.

You don't have to select your major until your second year, so you use the same degree code on your application no matter what major you would like to complete.

International Early Acceptance Award

We are delighted to be offering 10% credit on your first trimester's tuition fees if you are commencing in Trimester 2, 2025, and accept your offer and make payment within 14 days. This award applies to undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs (exclusions apply).

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply you must:

Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
Be a full-time student starting in Trimester 2, 2025.
Accept your offer to study at Griffith and make payment within 14 days of receiving your Letter of Offer. The acceptance date for this award will be outlined in your Letter of Offer.
Be studying an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program. See the Terms and Conditions below for excluded programs and cohorts.

Terms and Conditions

Griffith University academic and English language entry requirements apply, including results of previous study and English language proficiency.
The award covers 10% of undergraduate or postgraduate coursework tuition fees for the first trimester of study only, for students commencing in Trimester 2, 2025.
Students must accept their Letter of Offer and pay their total deposit fee by the award acceptance date specified in official University communication. This award will be granted as a non-refundable credit on the student account. Should a student withdraw or cancel for any reason, the award amount is non-refundable.
Students who defer commencement to an intake after Trimester 2, 2025 are not eligible to receive the award.
If eligible, the Early Acceptance Award will apply in addition to other Griffith International student scholarships.
Students must be International Fee Paying to qualify for the award.
Excludes students enrolling in Higher Degree Research, non-award, Study Abroad Program, Masters Qualifying Program, Dental (1577, 1613, 1638, 1574, 1580, 2126, 5702, 5703, 5699), Psychology (5070, 5747, 5753), Medical (1280, 5099), Nursing and Midwifery (1162, 1354), Master of Speech Pathology (5567), Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (1604), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) (1662), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) (1590), English language programs at the Griffith English Language Institute, programs delivered wholly online, programs only offered part time, programs delivered onshore or offshore in collaboration with a partner organisation.
Students must not be Australia Award/Australian Government scholarship recipients, foreign government scholarship recipients or on a pathway package with Griffith University.

The Gold Coast Student Grants program offers a $1,000 grant to help new international students settle into their new life on the Gold Coast. This grant can be used for textbooks, accommodation, or everyday expenses, easing the financial pressure of starting their journey in Australia.

Eligibility Criteria:

Hold a valid student visa (subclass 500).
Enroll at an Experience Gold Coast Education Member Institution for at least 24 academic weeks (including packaged offers/multiple courses).
Be a new student with a course commencement date between 1 May–30 November 2025.
Submit all required documents as per the Gold Coast New Student Grants’ conditions.

Important Dates: Applications Open: 11 February – 30 June 2025 (subject to early closure if the quota is met).
*Please note that this grant is only available to the first 250 eligible international students. Domestic students, international students already enrolled at an Australian institution, and those currently residing in Australia are not eligible.

Work Permit

PGWP

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

The professions which are the highest in demand in Australia are Cabin Crew members, Chefs, Account Managers, Teachers, Architects, Interior Designers, Engineers, and Marketers.
