Program Overview

UTP Stage II: Engineering is equivalent to the first year of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Engineering and Architectural Science degree. Upon the successful completion of UTP Stage II, you’ll begin the second year of your degree at TMU.

TMU’s Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science’s undergraduate programs prepare students to make meaningful contributions to advancements in technology, health, environmental sustainability, design and more. All engineering programs are accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board.

The Department of Aerospace Engineering teaches more than skills; they empower you to lead. From day one you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference—contributing to cutting-edge research and developing your own ideas for aerospace and beyond.

From aircraft design, to smart machine learning platforms and space exploration vehicles, you’ll apply your skills in physics and design to tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges. The aerospace engineering BEng degree program is accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB).

Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering :-

Aerospace engineers research, design and manufacture high-speed transportation vehicles, such as aircraft, spacecraft, drones, rockets, space stations, high-speed cars and hovercraft. They also design and develop the vehicles’ subsystems such as propulsion, avionic instrumentation and landing systems.

Through our Aircraft, Avionics and Spacecraft streams, you’ll receive training from world-renowned faculty and use advanced facilities including wind tunnels, propulsion labs and structural testing facilities. You can also gain practical experience through a paid co-op program, in addition to project opportunities with industry leaders and government agencies like Bombardier, Pratt & Whitney Canada, the Canadian Space Agency, Safran and more
