Program Overview

Gain a business degree based in real-world knowledge. As organisations are constantly changing, real-life learning is more relevant than ever.

This programme has industry experiences at its centre with case studies and workplace-based or focused assignments. The practical learning doesn’t stop there as you’ll also complete an internship during your third year. This internship will place you within a real-world business where you’ll need to complete a research project as part of your time with the organisation.

Through this hands-on learning experience, you’ll develop the understanding and skills to work in a range of management environments at operational and strategic levels – not to mention the great industry and business connections you’ll also make!

We offer papers in areas such as Entrepreneurship, Consumer Behaviour and Leadership in Action. We embrace our commitment to sustainability with a sustainability perspective embedded across all courses.

What will I learn?

This programme is all about practical learning so you can really understand the world of business and hit the ground running when you enter the workforce.

During your degree, you’ll:

Learn by looking at case studies, completing workplace assignments and a major research project.
Receive help with part-time job placement during your studies and with job placement when you graduate.
Complete a 300-hour internship, gaining hands-on experience and developing important industry and business connections.

Scholarships for International Students

The scholarships available for international students who are commencing in 2025.

$5,000 off the Master of Applied Management
$3,000 off the Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Management
$12,000 off the Bachelor of Applied Management ($4,000 per year)
$13,500 off the Bachelor of Information Technology ($4,500 per year)
$13,500 off the Bachelor of Construction ($4,500 per year)
$9,000 off the New Zealand Diploma in Construction ($4,500 per year)

Terms and Conditions

The Launch Scholarships are only for the February, April, July, and October 2025 intakes.
Scholarships will be granted once an unconditional offer of place has been issued.
Scholarships are for enrolled students. Enrolment means fees paid, visa approved, arrival in New Zealand and studying the programme for more than three weeks.
The student must not apply for a refund and students receiving scholarships must not
apply for RPL/cross credits.
Scholarships are subject to class capacity and programme availability.
The Master of Applied Management full scholarship of $5,000 will be applied only if full fees are paid. If the student is paying first year fees only, then a $3,000 scholarship will be granted initially and the remaining $2,000 when the student pays the remaining fees.
Scholarships are subject to change. Future Skills reserves the right to alter or remove scholarships.

With the coming of the new regulations, the New Zealand government has taken significant steps for international students. According to their pedagogy, students having completed Level 4 to 6 and non- degree level 7 qualifications with an additional year for Graduate Diploma Graduates of the qualifications get a one year work visa, the students having completed Level 4 to 6 and non- degree level 7 qualifications outside Auckland with an additional year for Graduate Diploma Graduates of the qualifications get a two year work visa the ones who have completed Level 7 or above get a three year work visa.
