The course covers areas of learning theory, social study of sport, specialist modules on teaching and learning of sport and physical education. You'll have the opportunity to consider both sport and education in relation to issues of equality, extra educational needs, creativity and the impact of new technologies on sport and education.
The education programme is designed to give you a well-rounded understanding through the study of philosophy, psychology and sociology of education in Scotland and beyond.
The sport course is delivered by staff from our Physical Activity for Health group, which has an excellent international reputation for research and teaching in physical activity, nutrition and childhood obesity.
