Leading to: Bachelor of Engineering - Biomedical Engineering

One of the fastest-growing disciplines within engineering, biomedical engineering is advancing the health-care industry and improving the lives of patients worldwide. Through clinical partnerships, the faculty and students are helping to solve modern medicine’s most pressing challenges, whether it’s how to diagnose diseases earlier, treat illnesses more effectively or improve the well-being and overall health of society. The Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) program in biomedical engineering will prepare you for a career in the health-care industry: developing new medications; designing prosthetics, biomechanical implants and medical devices; or analyzing medical images through machine learning. The biomedical engineering BEng degree program is accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB).
