Unlock your engineering potential: Build a sustainable future and career
Transform your passion for engineering into a global career with our Bachelor of Engineering. Designed to open doors worldwide, this degree gives you the skills, experience, and industry connections you need to make a real impact from day one. Whether you're aiming to innovate, lead, or tackle the challenges of tomorrow, this is the degree that will get you there.
Real-world experience from day one
Our hands-on approach ensures you don't just learn theory - you apply it. In your first year, you'll get a solid foundation in engineering and science principles, while also exploring different engineering specialisations. This flexibility lets you find your true calling before you choose your major, so you can tailor your studies to what excites you most. Smaller class sizes mean you'll receive personalised attention and direct access to passionate lecturers, who are here to guide you every step of the way.
Learn from industry leaders
As you progress into your second year, your studies take on a sharper focus. You'll choose your major, dive deeper into your chosen field, and start participating in real-world engineering projects. Guest lecturers such as industry leaders and innovators will share their experiences and insights, and you'll have the chance to ask questions, gain advice, and connect with key professionals. With smaller, more intimate classes, you'll get the mentorship and direct access you need to stay inspired and driven.
Industry placements and global opportunities
In your final year, you'll put everything you've learned to the test with a trimester-long project through our Industry Affiliates Program. Whether you work locally or overseas, this capstone project connects you directly with top companies and allows you to apply your skills to genuine engineering challenges. It's an invaluable opportunity to build your professional network and get a foot in the door with potential employers. By the time you graduate you'll have more than 400 hours of professional experience to help you succeed in your career.
Major: Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Electrical and electronic engineers collaborate with a range of professionals across industries, from civil and mechanical engineers to computer scientists. Their key role positions them to drive the development and application of emerging technologies, particularly in the fast-growing energy sector. You could help integrate renewable energy into traditional systems, reducing costs, conserving energy, and lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
