Foundation Studies Program

The Eynesbury College Foundation Studies Program (FSP) is an intensive program, preparing international students for entry into their first year of undergraduate study at the University of Adelaide or an Eynesbury Diploma.


Program Structure

Required modules: Students will study 3 core modules, as well as 3 elective modules in their area of study interest. Students will be graded on a score out of 500 which is used for entry to the University of Adelaide.

They tackle climate change, enable the renewable energy transition, secure our water supplies, protect society from natural hazards, and redesign products to reduce waste.

What will you do?

Our Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)(Environmental and Climate Solutions) will challenge and nurture you in a team environment. You will:

  • Develop skills to tackle climate change and other major environmental challenges around water, energy, food, pollution, waste, and natural hazards
  • Learn about connections between infrastructure, environment, society, and economy in the developed and developing world
  • Work with award-winning academics who are global experts in their field
  • Apply your knowledge to real-world projects based on industry needs
  • Complete an eight-week practical experience and participate in field trips


Major: Renewable Energy

The Renewable Energy major explores a broad range of engineering and regulatory topics, preparing you for a career in a rapidly changing industry. You’ll develop the skills and knowledge required to work with current and future energy infrastructure, with courses covering electric power systems and renewable energy technologies.

Studying a major in Renewable Energy will prepare you for a wide range of highly rewarding, high-impact careers—from wind turbine development, to biofuels process engineering, and energy systems optimisation.
