Bachelor of Commerce in Innovation and Entrepreneurship / Bachelor of Aviation (Management) - Dual Degree

Program Overview

The aviation management degree shares a common academic core with the flying stream, replacing flight training with a range of courses in management areas such as operations management, aviation economics, law and regulations, airline marketing and safety. Students are exposed to current aviation topics and often work in teams to solve contemporary air transport problems. Learning exercises range from operating a start-up airline in a management simulation to exploring the cognitive abilities of humans in the fast-developing environment of aviation.

During this four-year, full-time degree, you’ll gain first-hand experience in the aviation industry where you’ll put your knowledge to the test to solve contemporary air transport problems. Upon graduation, you’ll be well positioned to take on a variety of roles across domestic and international airlines, airports, government agencies and air transport organisations.

Major: Innovation and Entrepreneurship
You’ll develop entrepreneurship skills that help you survive, thrive and drive disruption. Your skills and experience will equip you to lead innovation and inspire colleagues in corporations, social enterprises, non-profit companies, government, or as CEO of your own startup. UNSW Business School has helped more startup founders and our graduates have created more billion-dollar companies than any other university in Australia.
