Program Overview

The Albers School of Business and Economics offers a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree with a major in Management to provide you with the skills that companies in our growing economy look for in their managers. Companies and organizations focus on differentiating themselves in today’s competitive environments, just as employees constantly strive to demonstrate their own value. Management skills are at the center of integrating the needs of companies and the individual.

The Management major will help you gain a strategic management perspective and the knowledge to structure organizations to meet profit and social responsibility goals. At the same time, you will become qualified in important communication and management skills to recruit, retain, and guide individuals and teams to support successful companies and organizations. In addition to required courses in leadership and human resource management, customize the major to suit your personal interests with electives in: International Management; Entrepreneurship' and Team Building.

Undergraduate Business Foundation

  • Demonstrate an understanding of major organizational behavior/general management concepts, theories, and their applications (such as motivation, teams, and decision making).
