The Bachelor of Life Sciences is a generalist degree that brings together the biological, environmental and medical sciences to answer fundamental questions. This degree will equip you with transferable skills that can be applied to a wide range of industries. This program also provides a pathway to postgraduate study, especially in health and medical fields.

Biological Chemistry (Major)
Study the?chemical processes?within and relating to living?organisms. This major sits at the intersection of chemistry and biology, examining chemistry through a life science lens. This major allows you to combine an interest in chemistry with studies in biochemistry and molecular biology. This major is only open to life sciences students. Unlike the standard chemistry major found in other undergraduate science degrees, this major includes environmental toxicology as a core subject, but does not require physical chemistry as a core subject.

Work Permit

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
