Humber’s Electronics Engineering Technician diploma program prepares you for technician roles in various industries and sectors that rely on electronic systems and technology. These include medical, telecommunications, energy and utilities, automotive, consumer electronics, broadcast networks, automation, aerospace, and defense. Electronics technicians perform job tasks related to the development, installation, manufacturing, testing, operation, and maintenance of electronic and electrical components and systems.
The program emphasizes practical skills and applications that reflect industry requirements and are guided by our industry advisory panel. You will gain skills in building and testing circuits, PCB design and assembly, use of electronic instruments, and coding for desktop and embedded systems. You will also learn to install, configure, and test industrial equipment, networks and telecom systems. The course activities blend theory and practice to help improve your ability to perform problem-solving, analysis, and troubleshooting.
