Program Overview

Recent advances in renewable energy technologies is driving the energy industry to transition, both on a national and global scale. This includes new and exciting job opportunities. The Master of Renewable and Future Energy (MRFE), solves a critical need to provide engineering professionals with relevant renewable energy skills for a ripe market. Renewable energy expertise cuts across many disciplines, including; marine renewable, biomass, geothermal, photovoltaics, electrical vehicles, as well as microgrids. Supporting this research is a growing trend in the adoption of renewables in WA for remote and small communities, especially in microgrid and smart-grid technology.
