The Bachelor of Arts in Art is an undergraduate liberal arts degree with two concentrations: Studio Art and Art History.

The B.A. in Art fosters a sense of artistic community and encourages our diverse student body to contribute to the multifaceted conversations in the classroom, to create connections through the sharing of ideas and to be active participants in the creative flow that is found throughout the multiple disciplines in the Art + Design Department. Our location provides Art majors easy access to the greater Chicago art community, which offers the opportunity to establish connections and to contribute to a vibrant metropolitan art community.
