The four year, pre-professional, undergraduate degree is a 126-credit-hour program culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.S. Arch.). The pre-professional architecture program introduces the student to the fundamentals of design. Course work weaves liberal arts courses with architectural design curriculum; architectural history through the ages; current technological advances in architecture; and the confluence of sustainable design, urbanism, and social justice through design.
Students have a challenging studio sequence beginning with architecturally focused design skills, including hand drawing, computer model building and 3D laser and fabrication mastery. Advanced studios emphasize complex design thinking and end with an integrated building design studio requiring cutting-edge design complete with building construction drawing sets.
The pre-professional degree creates the foundation in the field of architecture as preparation for continued education in a professional degree program or for employment options in fields related to architecture, such as construction management, theater set design, furniture design, real estate development, and digital fabrication and animation.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
A student can participate in three types of Optional Practical Training (OPT):
