Studying a Diploma of Business will equip you with a strong grounding in business fundamentals, such as professional communication, management, finance, economics, and business law and provide transferrable personal skills to drive entrepreneurship. Graduating with a Diploma of Business will allow you to transition to second year of studies at Western Sydney University, Sydney City Campus, or go on to an entry level business position.

Major: Accounting
The Accounting major equips you with the expert skills to create a career as an accounting specialist. You will be prepared to succeed in a range of roles in accounting practices, and also in both public and private enterprises. In this major you will develop in-depth knowledge of accounting, supported by knowledge of law, economics, and finance. Accounting major units focus on the fundamentals of financial and management accounting, as well as accounting information and corporate systems.
If you are seeking professional accreditation, you will also undertake specialised units in taxation and audit and assurance. The core units in the Bachelor of Business will provide you a foundation of business knowledge and develop your skills in innovation, career planning, and numeracy.

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
