Students successfully completing the Diploma of Information Technology will be granted entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Information Technology majoring in Games Development at Adelaide University.
The Bachelor of Information Technology majoring in Games Development is designed to teach you the knowledge and skills to work in designing and developing interactive games. You’ll be ready for the constantly evolving games industry and equipped for the current information technology landscape.
You will learn foundational information technology knowledge before undertaking your major in games development. Learn how to pitch your games ideas to the film and television, education, health, business and defence industries. You’ll learn practical course content in our purpose-built workspaces that are industry-focused and relevant to today’s societal needs.
Developing key skills in information technology principles in your first year, you will learn how to adapt your game development to new game technologies, platforms and design philosophies to prepare you for your future career.
Professionally accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS), you will have total flexibility in this degree to explore other information technology areas and expand your skillset for future career opportunities.

Students must meet all conditions and accept before the cut-off dates to be eligible, the specific program amount will be applied as a credit to students second trimester of study, scholarships apply to the first 8 modules of the Diploma programs, recipients will not be entitled to the Navitas Family Bursary, or any other scholarship, bursary, incentive, or discount, if you apply to defer or change your studies at any point in your packaged program, SAIBT reserve the right to re-assess.

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
