Students successfully completing the Diploma of Engineering will be granted entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Science majoring in Analytical Chemistry at Adelaide University.
Develop a solid foundation in the core knowledge, principles, technical and professional skills essential for a chemistry-focused career with our Bachelor of Science majoring in Analytical Chemistry.
Analytical chemistry is focused on achieving the highest degree of accuracy possible – in measurement, testing, analysis, interpretation and communication of chemical data.
Alongside foundational chemistry theory, you’ll also study courses introducing you to industry-standard laboratory techniques, technologies, data analysis and reporting methods.
Meanwhile, core courses in integrity and ethics, project management, communication and critical thinking skills will help to develop your professional skillset.
Our wide range of electives give you the freedom to explore a little bit of everything. Or you might decide to take a second major. Secondary majors can be in another area of science or in a non-science area such as arts, languages, business, mathematics – or something else entirely.

Students must meet all conditions and accept before the cut-off dates to be eligible, the specific program amount will be applied as a credit to students second trimester of study, scholarships apply to the first 8 modules of the Diploma programs, recipients will not be entitled to the Navitas Family Bursary, or any other scholarship, bursary, incentive, or discount, if you apply to defer or change your studies at any point in your packaged program, SAIBT reserve the right to re-assess.

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
