Diploma of Arts
A Diploma of Arts helps prepare you for a broad range of further study in arts, communication or social science, by exploring a broad range of disciplines including linguistics, cultures, criminality and creativity. By completing a Diploma of Arts, you will be qualified to gain entry level positions in a range of fields using the practical teamwork and communication skills which you acquired whilst studying at SIBT. Our students who successfully complete the diploma will be eligible to enter second year of a bachelor’s degree at university.

Our new delivery mode combines traditional classroom learning with 24-hour access to program materials online. This gives you greater flexibility and more time to discuss ideas and collaborate in class.

Language majors will enable you to develop an appropriate level of proficiency in a second language, which may be used for professional purposes such as teaching, interpreting and translation, business or international relations.
If you are undertaking a language major in Japanese, you will be able to use the language in question according to its grammatical and pragmatic principles, communicate with native speakers appropriately in the spoken as well as the written mode, and demonstrate an understanding of the cultures and societies associated with the language.

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
The professions which are the highest in demand in Australia are Cabin Crew members, Chefs, Account Managers, Teachers, Architects, Interior Designers, Engineers, and Marketers.
