What if there was a way to save people’s lives threatened by debilitating diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, cancer, and heart disease? Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) in Claremont, CA, educates the next generation of scientists to do just this: to discover the latest drugs that become affordable, safe, and effective medicines and therapies for those that desperately need a cure.
At KGI, our Master of Engineering in Biopharmaceutical Processing (MEng) program teaches students with backgrounds in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemical engineering, or biomedical engineering to discover and manufacture vaccines, proteins, monoclonal antibodies, stem cells biologics, gene therapy, and engineered tissues. Graduates of KGI’s two-year program find rewarding careers in the global and competitive biopharmaceutical industry, where they translate the potential of new drug discoveries to save lives.
