Students who have already completed Year 12 (or equivalent) may start with the Stage 2 Diploma, which has the same course content and structure as year one of the corresponding Curtin University undergraduate degree. Upon completion of your Diploma, you will progress directly into the second year of your Curtin University.

This course is designed to help you become a highly adaptive business professional, with skills and knowledge in a wide range of sectors.
You’ll begin by studying a suite of core units in business. You'll explore value-creation in business, learn to use financial information to make informed and responsible decisions, and develop business intelligence and analytical capabilities to interpret data. This will provide you with a strong base to build on as you progress through the course.
You'll also study a suite of core units in management, gaining a foundational understanding of key business areas such as marketing, finance, information systems, human resources and project management. You'll learn about the key activities, tools, and strategies of each area, and gain an insight into technological advancements and influencing trends.
In your first year, our expert staff will help you design your degree to suit your career goals. You’ll choose two business specialisations that align with your unique interests. You'll then choose between an optional third specialisation from selected areas in business, arts, design or science; or four elective units.
In your final year you'll undertake a capstone experience to gain valuable industry experience. This unit 'caps' off your study, enabling you to put your skills and knowledge into practice and helping provide a smooth transition from study to the workforce.
As a graduate of this course, you’ll be well-prepared for employment in a broad range of sectors in the dynamic business industry. With a diverse skillset that employers value and the ability to pivot to the needs of industry, you can confidently pursue a successful career as a highly adaptable and in-demand business professional.
Specialisation: Accounting for Business Decisions
This specialisation will give you a practical understanding of business technologies, database design, data modelling and visualisation methods used to present information.
The units provide knowledge and skills across a broad range of techniques used in cost analysis and accounting analytics necessary to assess the viability and value of organisations.
You’ll gain hands-on knowledge and skills across a broad range of analytical techniques used to assess the strengths and weaknesses of organisations using financial metrics.

High Achiever Scholarship
Covers 15% of any study period when achieved a 70% CWA.
This scholarship is only for international students. It will not extend to your first year at Curtin University.

CU will give 20% for the entire duratin of the course if achieved 70% CWA. (Undergraduate or Master by coursework).
Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
