The master's in endodontics graduate program at Marquette University can be completed in 24 months and emphasizes high quality clinical training. First year residents immediately start treating patients in the graduate clinic at the beginning of the program and continue throughout the two years.
A student in the Endodontics master's program must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours of course work, including four credit hours in clinical practice per academic year (a total of eight credit hours for each program) and six credit hours of thesis work. The remaining credits may be divided among courses specific to the specialty discipline and elective courses.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
