The MBA curriculum is an accelerated program consisting of 36 credit hours for a general MBA degree and 39 credit hours for an MBA with a concentration in one of the following six areas: Accounting and Finance, Management, Management Accounting, Healthcare Management, Portfolio Management, or Global. Non-business degree graduates must complete the foundation courses within the graduate business program or their equivalent in an undergraduate school of business. A student may test-out of the foundation courses. See the graduate academic advisor to schedule exam(s).
The MBA program allows a student to earn an MBA in just 12 months of continuous study in a full-time day program. It builds on a foundation of core business knowledge, while making development of a student's leadership skills a priority. Graduates from this program leave with solid business expertise and a portfolio of demonstrated leadership knowledge and skills.
The MBA program involves the student in a cohort-based relationship with colleagues from around the region and the world. Teamwork is an integrated part of being successful in the program. Students develop their own problem solving techniques, as well as decision making paradigms and communications skill.
Healthcare Management Option: This unique master’s program combines specific healthcare classes with business classes to prepare individuals to excel technically, analytically, and think critically in the healthcare industry.
