Take your place at Australia's leading university for elite athletes. In our Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), you'll learn and practice techniques to enhance functional movement by undertaking biomedical, physical and behavioural science courses, as well as physiotherapy academic and clinical courses.
Before graduation, you will be required to demonstrate physiotherapy knowledge and skills required for entry-level clinical physiotherapy practice. In your final two years of study, you'll develop and demonstrate advanced knowledge relating to research.

Physiotherapists aim to enhance the movement and function of individuals and populations across the lifespan, especially when actual or potential impairments and disability relate to the musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, and neurological systems. The Gold Coast Student Grants program offers a $1,000 grant to help new international students settle into their new life on the Gold Coast. This grant can be used for textbooks, accommodation, or everyday expenses, easing the financial pressure of starting their journey in Australia.

*Please note that this grant is only available to the first 250 eligible international students. Domestic students, international students already enrolled at an Australian institution, and those currently residing in Australia are not eligible.
Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
