Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted into this program, applicants must possess an undergraduate degree from an institution recognized by UPEI with a minimum average of 75% or a grade point average of 3.0 (B) in the last twenty courses required.
We understand the financial considerations are a critical factor in students decisions to study overseas, and we are increasing our scholarship offerings to new international students for the Sept. 2025 intake. We plan to offer scholarships to 100 new students, and we welcome you to nominate students for that. Scholarships are generally $1000, $1500, and $2000 based on student academic achievement, starting from 80% on 5 high school Grade 12 or 11 academic subjects.

Entrance scholarships will be awarded annually to incoming MBA in Global Leadership students in the Faculty of Business Administration. Each scholarship ranges in value from $1,000 to $3,000. Scholarships are awarded to those who have received at least an 80% average in their last two years of undergraduate study and have demonstrated leadership potential. The UPEI Master of Business Administration in Global Leadership (MBA-GL) program is offering a new scholarship to UPEI alumni who would like to complete their MBA at UPEI. The MBA-GL program already has one of Canada’s most competitive tuition rates, but we are also excited to announce a scholarship for new applicants to the program. The MBA Future Leaders: UPEI Alumni Scholarship is valued at $2,500 and will be awarded to UPEI alumni (or graduating UPEI undergraduate students) who are offered admission into the program. Please note that admission is competitive, and we encourage any interested candidates to apply as soon as possible. |

The Post- Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) allows you to work for three years in Canada if you have completed a two years degree or more.
You can either apply online or download the form and mail the application along with the required documents. Pay your fee and then wait for the decision to come.
To apply for the work visa, you need a degree from a recognized and accredited Canadian University along with an intention to stay and work in Canada only temporarily.
One can apply for the full-time work permit in the first three months post the completion of their course during which the study permit is still valid.
You will have to wait for 90 days for the decision on your work permit.
