Work Integrated Learning

On campus

The Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Banking) integrates theory with real-world practice through UC's Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities, designed to prepare students for their future careers. UC provides diverse WIL options, including industry case studies, guest speakers, internships, work placements, industry projects, competitions, exhibitions, study tours, virtual experiences and more.

Through the WIL experiences across the course, you’ll acquire the necessary professional skills consistent with industry expectations for your future career in the worlds of finance, banking and commerce. Previous Finance and Banking students have undertaken internships and cadetships with a diverse array of leading partner organisations in both public and private sectors.

The course culminates in a capstone project, which aims to integrate what you’ve learned across your degree and prepare you for the transition to either successful future employment or further studies.
