Combine focused instruction in typography, image making and current technologies with a broad foundation in design theory and the history of graphic design. Why This Program & What You'll Learn
Our graphic design courses are limited to 20 students. Your professors will get to know you—not only as a designer but also as an individual.
You’ll have access to an exceptional array of labs and other facilities, including two state-of-the-art Mac labs, a letterpress shop, a designated print lab, and 2D and 3D printing facilities.
In the classroom, you’ll apply design thinking to real-world design practice. Our program is rooted in the varied backgrounds and interests of our faculty, giving you access to a wide range of practices. Our faculty have won Fulbright fellowships and Webby Awards, and they bring experience in design criticism and writing, web and interface development, and professional practice.
Our art department is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
A student can participate in three types of Optional Practical Training (OPT):
