Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art - Graphic Design

Program Overview

Combine focused instruction in typography, image making and current technologies with a broad foundation in design theory and the history of graphic design. A major in art with a concentration in graphic design sets you up for a successful career in publication design, advertising, web development, and beyond.

Why This Program & What You'll Learn
Our graphic design courses are limited to 20 students. Your professors will get to know you—not only as a designer but also as an individual.

You’ll have access to an exceptional array of labs and other facilities, including two state-of-the-art Mac labs, a letterpress shop, a designated print lab, and 2D and 3D printing facilities.

In the classroom, you’ll apply design thinking to real-world design practice. Our program is rooted in the varied backgrounds and interests of our faculty, giving you access to a wide range of practices. Our faculty have won Fulbright fellowships and Webby Awards, and they bring experience in design criticism and writing, web and interface development, and professional practice.

Our art department is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.
