Master of Science in Developmental Disorders

Program Overview

An understanding of developmental disorders and neurodivergence – including conditions such as autism and dyslexia – is essential to ensure that our healthcare and educational systems can provide the support that all children need to flourish.

Our Master’s in Developmental Disorders will not only allow you to explore how humans develop neurotypically, but will also introduce you to the ways in which we vary, including how we can diagnose developmental disorders and how best to help those with developmental disorders achieve their full potential. The programme will provide an ideal foundation to pursue a future career in clinical or educational psychology by equipping you with the latest knowledge on developmental disorders ready to apply in educational or healthcare settings.

All of our Psychology Master's programmes are approved as training for postgraduate studies by the Economic and Social Research Council.
