After studying biomedicine at Lancaster University, you can look forward to a promising career in areas such as academic, industrial and medical research, pharmaceuticals and forensic science. 90% of Lancaster’s biomedicine graduates are in work or further study six months after graduating, 70% of those in employment are in professional or managerial positions (Unistats 2019). We also offer you the opportunity to apply for a paid summer internship within the Division of Biomedical and Life Sciences at Lancaster University. Past research topics have included: Alzheimer’s disease, biochemistry, cancer biology, DNA replication, immunology, microbiology and tropical infectious diseases.
