Certificate Of Power Engineering - Fourth Class

Program Overview

Power Engineering – Fourth Class
In this Fourth Class Power Engineering program you will receive training in boiler operations, air conditioning, heating, refrigeration and water treatment systems.  In this program, courses are taught through classroom training, two three-week lab requirements in Saskatoon and one work placement.

What You Will Learn
You will study Fourth Class interprovincial standardized material as preparation to challenge the interprovincial Fourth Class examinations, and write the provincial exam to obtain the Refrigeration Engineers Certificate required to operate larger refrigeration plants in Saskatchewan. As a graduate of this full-time program you may go straight into the workforce or enrol in Third Class Power Engineering after receiving your certificate.
