Master of Science in Economic Crime

Program Overview

If you're looking to start your career in countering economic crime, or you're already working in the field and want to aim for higher level roles, our MSc Economic Crime degree course will give you the knowledge and skills you need.
You'll explore and evaluate the intricacies of economic crime and its social and financial impacts, while getting to grips with existing crime reduction policies and weighing up their effectiveness.

You’ll focus on the topics that interest you – such as countering corruption and fraud examination, money laundering, managing investigations, and intelligence – as you tailor your studies toward a career in law enforcement, investigations, compliance, research, analysis, management or policy development.

You can study either full or part-time on campus, or part-time by distance learning, so you can fit your studies around your work schedule. You'll also have the chance to customise your qualification by choosing to combine your study of economic crime with another of our Criminal Justice Master's courses.

When you graduate, you'll be equipped with the skills that will open further opportunities to combat economic crime across the criminal justice system, in the public or private sector.
