Program Overview

Our MSc in Clinical Research can be tailored to your specific needs, ensuring that you walk away with skills and knowledge that are relevant to your chosen career. Through our exciting mix of multidisciplinary modules, you’ll also benefit from exposure to students from the related health and social care professions, with whom you will be able to share practice, knowledge and ideas.

You will experience a variety of teaching methods including online delivery as well as face to face small groupwork. We encourage the use of problem-solving and evidence-based techniques – a stimulating and exciting way to learn. During your time with us we’ll help you develop the skills to conduct critical analysis of the evidence that underpins healthcare as we know it, and to carry out in-depth qualitative and quantitative research relevant to your own practice. We’ll also give you the opportunity to develop an understanding of an extensive range of research methodologies, all appropriate and relevant to developing your clinical research career.

You will be assigned your own personal adviser – to support you through the course. And, based at the School of Health Science, you’ll benefit from being taught by a team of world-leading experts.
