Program Overview

The MA Fashion Design (Womenswear) programme is one of five distinctive and creative full-time, research-driven, practice-based Fashion Masters programmes at Northumbria University that explore innovative, global challenges integral to the advancement of knowledge in the fashion discipline. Choosing from one of these programmes will enable you to graduate with a dedicated Masters qualification within your chosen specialism.

MA Fashion Design (Womenswear) aims to produce designers who can develop products with a high level of integrity. Underpinned by an appreciation of craftsmanship, this programme is suited to individuals with a background in womenswear who are passionate about investigating the complexities of this discipline through fashion research and making, developing new techniques and approaches to the craft of womenswear.
