Program Overview
Chemistry is more than learning how to balance equations and memorize the periodic table. At UIndy you will see the world as a place full of chemistry – from the reactions in the environment, to the digestion of food, to pharmaceutical manufacturing. Looking through a chemist’s eye, you'll also develop an understanding of the ethical implications of chemistry in society as you learn the process of scientific investigation and interpretation of findings.
Concentrations
The chemistry concentrations provide you with a foundation tailored to your chosen career field, along with training and support for further education. CHEMICAL PHYSICS
With a concentration in chemical physics, students will receive a degree in chemistry with a minor in physics. Students will graduate with an understanding of how physics plays a role in chemistry.
