Bachelor of Science in Archaeology

Program Overview

You love travel, but not as a tourist. You love listening to people. And you don't see yourself working in a cubicle. True? Then archaeology might be the degree for you. The UIndy program gives students hands-on archaeological training and experience, largely with North American materials. By graduation, you will be prepared to dig and work professionally anywhere in the world! And while the emphasis is on field training and methodology, you will also benefit from training in both theory and method.

Advantages

  • Coursework emphasizes all four anthropology subfields
  • Maximum of 30 students in a class, while many are much smaller
  • Direct contact with professors
  • Immediate opportunities for students to conduct research
