Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology

Program Overview

Through its four-field approach (biological anthropology, socio-cultural anthropology, linguistic anthropology and archaeology), the UIndy Anthropology program offers broad training for studying culture and human behavior, past and present. Anthropology majors at UIndy receive broad training in the varied subfields of anthropology and have the flexibility to explore their areas of interest in greater depth. Whether your goal is to pursue a graduate degree or enter the job market immediately upon graduation, UIndy Anthropology will help you achieve your goals by providing hands on training in qualitative research methods and analysis that corporate, public, non-profit and academic organizations all value. Become an anthropologist, utilize your critical thinking and curiosity to serve your community and improve their understanding of the world!
